Dedication to William Bedi, Sr.
Our Loving Grandfather
February 6, 1926 to March 27, 2008

Our website is dedicated to the memory of our grandfather, William Bedi, Sr. Our grandfather was a wonderful man who set an example to us by the way he lived his life. He was the husband of one wife for over 60 years, father of 6, grandfather of 14, and great grandfather of 29. We admired his enthusiasm and his love for life, and the way he showed that enthusiasm to everyone he met. He cared deeply for his family, and did everything possible to show it. YOU COULD ALWAYS COUNT ON GRANDPA!

Our grandfather personally molded the core of our work ethics. He had an insatiable energy, and was a hard working man. He was still building sheds, installing roofs, painting countless rooms, trimming houses, working on decorative shelves (which he gave to his family members) and cleaning the local elementary school through his 70's and early 80's. Even a week before he died, he was discussing going back to work on a part-time basis.

One time a pastor asked him how he got through the hard times in life. His exact words were, "I don't believe I ever had any of those." Our grandfather lived through the depression, supported a wife and six children, and often worked two or more jobs, all without complaining.

The most important aspect of our grandfather's life is he was a Christian. He exemplified the life of Christ by loving others and giving himself to them. For example, at one point in his life he bought a car for a neighbor man who couldn't afford one. He also had several families living with him and his wife at different times to help these families through difficult times. The love and generosity shown by our grandfather has had an impact on many people.

The memories we have of our grandfather are endless. We love him dearly, and miss him tremendously. May this dedication bring honor to the Lord, to our grandfather's legacy, and help us to cherish his memory.
